Crazy about Paper Food Packaging Supplies & Dessert Packaging

"It's the exact same old tissue, honey, it doesn't make a difference, ok? It's still going to work the exact same method", my exasperated other half hissed into my ear as I got containers after cartons of some 'designer' tissue. DESIGNER TISSUE! Hah, can you even hear me state that? I can't believe I actually wrote 'designer tissue'. So, yes, for a graphic designer and writer who understands everything about the sort of effort one takes into product packaging and branding items, I sure fell for it. All the hoopla. The shenanigans. The 'draw 'em in with great copy and fab color combo'. Hey, I am still a consumer, remember that. I am entitled to succumb to good packaging, I have a dominating right to be human.

They are so quite ... the packaging. I swear!

They have the 'nature fan' product packaging, the 'fruity' product packaging, the 'female on the go' packaging, and after that they have the 'kids' product packaging. I grabbed 4 of each style packages and made a run for the counter with them with my yelling kids and exasperated spouse following me in sluggish motion. It was definitely a 'die-hard' moment. You understand, when the hero is running away from a bunch of wild bad men with maker guns, and they're shooting at your feet or something ... and there's a surge behind you ... and whatever takes place in ssslllloooowwwww mmmmooooottttttiiiioooonnnnn.

Well, in this case, I was running for checkout with boxes of tissue paper with fancy packaging styles on them. I liked the product packaging creates so much, after utilizing up all the tissues in the boxes, I would cut out the styles and put it into my 'should keep for reference' clear folder. I don't keep a lot of things in there since I am quite selective about the styles that I like, however these packaging designs made the cut.

You see, this is the kind of thing that occurs when you put some effort into making your packaging design. Yeah, we all have this in the back of our heads ... "Hey, it's PACKAGING! They're going to THROW the PACKAGING away.

But this is what I need to tell you, as a graphic designer and consumer. The more effort you put into creating your packaging, more clients will more info stop and take an appearance at your product packaging or what's inside the packaging. Now, does it make sense for me to state now that when they take and stop notice of your product packaging, your chance of getting them to purchase your item increases? Precisely.

You see, the role of packaging is to get the customer's attention. And without an electrifying packaging, customers are going to stroll past the loads and stacks of other competitor products ... and yours ... without even understanding you're there! Your item is sitting there on a rack, for goodness sake, and the only weapon you have is to have a good packaging. Once they stop and have a look, you've won the preliminary.

Think of it!

They have the 'nature enthusiast' product packaging, the 'fruity' packaging, the 'lady on the go' product packaging, and then they have the 'kids' packaging.
